Truths

"Everyman, when he gets quiet, when he becomes desperately honest with himself, is capable of uttering profound truths. There is no mystery about the origin of things.
We are all part of creation, all kings, all poets, all musicians; we have only to open up, to discover what is already there." - Henry Miller

Permit more to unfold in your life without forcing or rejecting ideas that do not seem to fit.

Accept change as a life's truth. Go with the flow like waves to shore.

House finch drops a seed
           from the feeder.

Released for growth, a seedling
         shoots up from the earth.

Surrounded by bushes
          it stretches for the light.

Its color green
in a struggle and a beginning.

The way the oak tree reaches its
          branches to explore the sky.
