Launch into 2016

"For there are moments when something new has entered into us, something unknown; our feelings grow mute in shy perplexity, everything in us withdraws, a stillness comes, and the new, which no one knows, stands in the midst of it and is silent." - Rainer Maria Rilke

New Year's Resolutions often do not last past January. It takes creativity and determination to make changes that motivate positive outcomes.

Think like Rilke and let something new in. Search far into an unknown.

Get out of the way of yourself and stop self-judgment.

Forgive yourself and forget changing old habits. Think in terms of Possibilities.

Imagine ways to charge rather than change your energy for 2016.

Let the stillness surround.

Instead of changing an old idea, use it as foundation. Re-arrange it into new patterns of thinking.

Discover an exhilarating habit you haven't thought of before.

Turn fear into Feisty. When a fearful thought tangles the brain, use it to get you going in another direction.

Release expectations for change and scamper into unique ways of performance.

Follow Rumi's advice and "Let silence take you to the core of life."

Clear the palate and let your creative juices flow in the present moment.

Breathe in the idea from Mary Oliver, "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"

Ring in the New! this year.
