Mental Journey

Choose a "slice of life" episode to make visible and emotional.  Relate experience or opinion.

Write in first person, present tense.

Set the stage:
     Where is this happening?
        What's going to happen?
            Who is doing what to whom?
                  Why is this happening?

Bring events into focus. Select details.

Color the facts with emotion.

Hook the reader with the details and leave savoring the ending.
