Watch Your Mind

"Watch your mind, how it comes into being, how it operates. As you watch your mind, you discover your self as the watcher. When you stand motionless, only watching, you discover yourself as the light behind the watcher. The source of light is dark, unknown is the source of knowledge. That source alone is. Go back to that source and abide there." - Nisargadatta Maharaj

We spend our life searching for something. Once we discover we have all we need within ourselves, we can begin to acknowledge and find that more of that true self.

A few ways to look inside for insight:

Define likes and dislikes and trade them.

Use curiosity and imagination to find comfort in discomfort.

Consider ways to experience the unknown with a friendly attitude.

Trade hate for a true feeling of the essence of love.

Make friends with uncertainty.

Turn worries into wonderings. Find solutions in unexpected ways.

Learn what energizes a thrill by giving yourself to a project.

Watch the ways your mind moves when you address the above. Add your own considerations.
