Use a Talent

Observe the stillness of an orchid in bloom. While activity is going on inside, the petals find a steadiness to allow a sway with the breeze.

How does one free the mind of racing thoughts and fears?

It takes a focus on the breath and an acknowledgment that the mind can race and one can find a sense of peace within the speed.

Find a place to connect with stillness.

Consider the sounds and temperature around you as energy rather than disruption.

Look inside to discover petals of nourishment that can withstand all types of weather.

Often our greatest talent provides more power than our biggest fear.

Imagine a bird accommodating rough winds and rain. Feathers provide protection and guidance.

Develop an image of a fear.

Seek a metaphor.

Look for a humorous approach.

Dig into the details.

Write to use the power of a great talent to overcome fear.
Revel in the thrill of your accomplishment.
