Get Past Frustration

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.
- Dr. Maya Angelou

How do we live from the inside out? Can we discover ways to gain strength and avoid permitting the distractions and dissonance of the world's deluge to affect our balance?

Distractions in a positive realm assist to ease frustrations.

Take a breath and find a spot with a view. Go into a garden, by the sea, or anywhere nature envelops.

Bring a notebook, not a computer. Use a pen that flows on the page.

Start with a word and see where your mind goes.

Begin with a positive word like Glorious. Let the mind move into Gravity. Granary. Galump. Gratify. Gleam.

Keep writing to let words get beyond any negatives that arrive.

Add a rhyme to shift focus. Gleam to dream.

Continue with a verb. Graze and glow into the sheen.

Laugh a few lines.  Just fididdle.

Keep playing with words past frustration.  Or pasta frustarion.

You will feel energized after letting the process take over.
