Language for Discoveries

“Nothing is less real than realism. Details are confusing.
It is only by selection, by elimination, by emphasis,
that we get at the real meaning of things.” - Georgia O'Keeffe

Photograph a subject like a flower.  Focus on a variety of angles, curves and views.

Select a petal. Notice its ridges and sheen.

Zoom in to eliminate part of the photograph.

Emphasize a detail of the item.

Create a blur effect.

Use words to turn your selections into language for discoveries.

Find the write meaning of the point of view selected.
