Awakening

"Moments of real seeing are beyond the labeling propensity of the mind, beyond what we think we know. Seeing is a step into the unknown and requires some degree of intention and awakening. Real seeing  - of ourselves, of others, and of the world, - contains three defining characteristics: simultaneity, a direct perception in the present moment; objectivity seeing things as they are, as best we can; and impartiality, freedom from judgment."  - David Ulrich

Let the moment awaken your day.

Notice textures, colors, and where edges meet.
Look up to discover a magical connection.

Let go with your mind's wings and fly into an adventure.

Track Creativity

"Human beings are in a state of creativity 24 hours a day."
- Raoul Vanergem
Many consider creativity only in its relationship to an art form.  Everyone displays a creative sensitivity a thousand times per day. These art forms appear in connections, distinctive thoughts, and novel ideas. Unexpected perceptions arise around every corner.

Observing how forms and structures in nature provide Aha! understandings.

Restless originality and intentions abound in problem solving during daily activities. Paper clips and rubber bands serve beyond their obvious uses when needed.

When we remain open to different uses for common objects, we benefit. Then we learn to connect ideas in other areas of life.

Track your creative notions, problems solved in unique ways, fleeting impressions, and thoughts for a day.

Keep a list and write about the connections and possibilities. Reveal ways you move beyond bewilderment with sparks and flashes of  solutions.

Choices

Every story, love or war, is a story about looking left when we should have looked right
- Sarah Blake, from The Postmistress

Remember a time you made a choice that sent you in a different direction than planned?

Think about a decision that eliminated  a serious change in your life.

Recall a situation where you, by opportunity, turned right instead of left.

Follow those memories.
