A Day of Discovery

Mark Twain wrote about wanting a day one finds out "why"?

Rather than pinpoint a day, try daily doses of amazement and amusement during life's journey.

Launch into each day's moments and use the senses to push further into wonder.  Engage with the good, bad, and frustrating. Let them enrich the ability to deal with a moment of solution.

Humor assaults life's challenges.

Laughter dilutes a situation of dread into one that delves into delight.

Moods lighten with positive thinking and flick away negative emotions.

Let a day of discovery arrive every day. Believe Mark Twain meant each day one discovers why.

Take Time

Take time to stop for nature's miracles
without cellphone delays.

When many require an audience,
the morning glory never requests applause.

She ignites from the earth,

to shine with each morning's dew.

Take time to find scents of awakening,

to flare violet into a twirl.

Discover Truth

'There is an amazement when a picture begins to smell fragrant. Because genuine art is an expression of the inexpressible without which life is not complete. Striving for fullness and expression is striving for the fullness of truth."
- from Aviator by Eugene Vodolazkin

"The very word mesmerized me -Aviator. Its sound united within itself the beauty of flight and the roar of a moron - freedom and might. An aviator is a large, beautiful bird. I wanted to be a bird like that too." - Platonov, Aviator

Eugene Vodolazkin enters the reader into a world of science, wonder, friendship, and frustration. His words discover possibilities for each character. Vodolazkin weaves sensual details for each person in his or her sliver of the world.

Discover truth from a
metaphor in nature.
